Monday Lust List

A first for this blog page and probably one of many long ass lists of things this girl could use/look at/wear.

First up is the brand spanking new Smeg toaster and kettle. They are that new that I am still waiting for them to be released in Australia. I know already that these sweet little retro pieces of goodness will not be cheap, but I would just about sell my soul to have these in my kitchen. They make my eyes so happy.

This Eclectic candle by Tom Dixon caught my eye, firstly because of the gorgeous rose gold metal "vessel" that it's in with the marble lid. Then I read the description of the scent and it made me want this even more. "London calls to the scent of red brick, London parks with crocuses and nettles and the salty smell of the Thames at Dagenham". This may sound horrid to some of you, but having family that live in England and having visited London a few times this just makes me reminisce back to happy times.  $113 AUD.

So while we are speaking of England, it is the perfect segue for my next little fun item from Typo. These are the Sleep Easy Headphones. Eye mask and built in headphones in one! Perfect for blocking out screaming children/constant humming of jet engines/loud annoying people, whilst also adding a do not disturb factor by hiding your eyes. I'm thinking these would also be so much more comfortable to try and sleep with on than the regular dodgy ones from the plane.  $19.95 AUD.

A few more funky things from Typo. This Magnetic Hourglass caught my eye. It pretty much speaks for itself. I really like the magnetic "sand" adds a little somethin' somethin'.  $29.95 AUD.

Loving this cool Palm Tree Jewellery Tray. I'm a bit of a trinket fiend and this would look fab on my dressing table holding some dress rings or studs.  $14.95 AUD.

If you don't know what this mug is referencing... WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN SINCE 1995?! Clueless would have to be one of my favourite cheesy chick flicks. I mean, the outfits for starters! Man the 90's have a lot to answer for...  $6.95 AUD.

A little bit more homewaresy stuff going on. Typo always manage to have multiple things in their store that tickle my fancy. These two message boards would come in super handy! The Wire Noticeboard for pegging bills and important bits. The Baroque White Board already has a future spot that I could hang it and use for my shopping list pieces.  $29.95 AUD and $49.95 AUD.

Next up is the Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black and Nirvana White Perfumes. I have seen a few YouTubers (Essie Button, HeyClaire and Fleur DeForce) rave about these fragrances, so of course I did a little research and yep, they sound amazing! Nirvana Black claims to be "an addictive blend of alluring violet, sensual sandalwood and rich vanilla that strike the perfect balance between masculine and feminine" Sounds devine! I love scents that have that masculine hint about them. Nirvana White is "is a captivating blend of delicate peony, chic muguet and tender musk for a feminine scent with dark sophistication" As much as I like a masculine scent, I also like a good musk. Unfortunately, it's an exclusive to Sephora, so I'm going to have to get creative about getting me a couple of samples to sniff.

From fragrance to lip products. These Too Faced Melted Liquid Lipsticks look fab. I found these on ASOS whilst I was mindlessly browsing. I think my first pick would be either the coral color or the red. I love a good red lip! From what I have seen, pigmentation looks amazing and they claim to be long lasting so I think I need to try them.  $37.26 AUD.

Ok, let's just take a second and have a really good look at this brush set. I mean seriously, could they be any more frickin' beautiful!? These are the Zoeva Rose Golden Luxury Set. Stored in a sleek classy clutch, the collection comes with 8 essential brushes to cover all of your beautifying needs. The set comes with natural and synthetic haired brushes, so they can be used with both cream and powder based products. I can already see this set taking pride of place on my dressing table sitting in one of my many glass jars.  $68.00 USD.

Sunglasses... What can I say. They're a weakness. And these Dita Magnifique Sunglasses are certainly on my top 5 list of sunnies I would like to slap on my face! I love the cat eye flick and the tortoiseshell colour.  $387.27 AUD.

CLOTHES!!! I love looking at Winter threads. There's just something about rugging up in the cold weather. Layering up and getting cozy.
1. The Mason Scotch Oversized Aztec Cardigan. Now I don't think I could EVER spend $370 on a cardigan (you know, unless I became stupidly rich) but this wooly knit just seems to call my name.

2. The ASOS Longline Cardigan With Elbow Patch. Clearly I was on a cardigan rampage... This simple long length cotton knit would go with everything you wanted to wear with it. I'd style with jeans, t-shirt and boots or a dress with tights and boots.  $49.02 AUD.

3. The ASOS Jumper With Elbow Heart Patch. Sensing the trend? A cute pullover that you could slouch around the house in or dress up with some jeans and an open jacket over the top to warm it up. $43.14 AUD.

4. The Cotton On Furry Aztec Cardi. Grab a bargain with this one and snatch it up on sale! $25.00 AUD.

Last but not least, I couldn't end the blog without a pair of shoes. (my number 1 weakness) These are the Rylan Peep sandal from Cotton On. ($29.95 AUD) Now, I know it's not particularly the best weather for us Aussie peeps to be wearing open toed shoes... BUT! The warmer is not far away and a girl can never have too many pairs of shoes. That is my excuse and I'm sticking to it...

Until next time... Xx
