April Favourites.

I am back behind the keyboard! FINALLY!! And quietly falling to pieces inside when I stop and realise that we are already 5 months into the year 2014...

I just cannot comprehend how quickly each day is passing and each year is falling... I kind of wish we could slow it down a little!

Anywho. I thought I would do a little April favourites blog post. The things I have been loving this month.

Now because I don't wear makeup through the week while I'm at work, there weren't many makeup items that made the cut this month. But what I did use all month long and will repurchase is everything you see here.

Up first we have the Nutrimetics Pore Perfection Kit. I don't have too much more to say about this product as I have done an earlier blog post about it. But, this duo is a great little pair! The cleanser is gentle enough for everyday use, but will also exfoliate your skin. The night cream was thick and soaked in well to the skin. After the 28 day recommended usage, my skin hadn't felt that soft and lovely in a long time!
$69.00 AUD

The Rimmel BB Cream would be one of my all time favourite make up items. It's super easy to apply, just like a moisturiser. It has a really nice medium coverage, hiding those discolourations. On those days  where I can't really be bothered with makeup I just put this on with a lick of mascara and I'm good to go!
RRP $12.95 AUD Now on sale in Priceline for $10.36.

The Batiste dry shampoo is another long time favourite. I am yet to find one I like better and this coconut and exotic tropical scent is yummy! On those days in between washing when your hair feels a little lack lustre, spray this baby into your roots, leave a couple seconds then brush through. You will be left with fresh looking hair with bonus added volume! #winning
$15.95 AUD for a giant 400g can. Available at Priceline and various other stores.

Next is the Grown Organic Alchemist Eye Cream. To be honest, I bought this cream out of Priceline as it was ridiculously reduced in price so I thought, why not!!
A score on my behalf! This is a lovely little eye cream. I wouldn't say it's a miracle worker and has diminished my dark circles or anything radical, but! it does leave my eye area feeling lovely and plump and moisturised in the mornings.

My favourite fragrance of the month would be Jessica Simpson's Fancy. It is divine! Now, I'm not very good at describing scents but this one is definitely sweet and girly but it lingers and matures as it sits on the skin. The proper description describes it as an oriental vanilla fragrance. Top notes are pear, apricot and red berries; middle notes are gardenia, jasmine, almond and caramel; base notes are sandalwood, vanilla and amber. (told you I couldn't describe scents well) You can find this in Priceline. RRP $59 AUD (currently on sale for $29 AUD for 100ml bottle)

Now the last of my favourites is certainly not the least! It is the Kat Von D Sin-Full Lash Mascara.
This is such a great find. I got this in the Kat Von D Spellbinding Look Kit. This mascara is really great. I love this shape of brush a lot more than the rubbery, bendy, weird shaped brushes. It gives a lot of volume and length and is a lovely formula that doesn't get flakey or too smudgy. It's not waterproof so it will transfer a little as the day wears on but no more than any other mascara in my opinion.

So there you are folks! That is my little bit late, little bit rough blog post on a few of my April favourites. Hopefully you've enjoyed reading through these bits and bobs and maybe I have convinced you to try out something new, or revisit an old favourite you may have forgotten about.

Enjoy. Xx

P.S Please excuse my blog while I go through a few teething problems. I'm having a tiny bit of a melt down trying to figure out all of this coding jazz. Lets just say thank god for google!
